Here for sale we have a used Vega White Oak model banjo from the Deering/Vega company. This one built in 2019 shows very little play time though it was owned by prominent folk musician Tom Chapin and is signed in the inside rim by Tom and fellow well-known musician John McCutcheon. This banjo features Vega's white oak wood rim that gives it a sound all its own. Though there is no tone ring on this model the Remo Renaissance style head gives it a good clarity and definition. There has been one hole in the where a pickup jack was placed at one point (and could be again). The nut width is 1 1/4" and the scale is 26 1/4". Comes with Deering hard shell case.
