This genuine Boston era Vega banjo is in good playing condition with a straight neck and comfortable action. It features 24 brackets, 7-ply pot, and what appears to be a 2-piece Maple neck with dark Ebony fingerboard with dot inlay and white neck binding. The banjo dates from 1962, Serial No. A102206. There is a small amount of tarnish on metal parts from age and a few marks at the lower part of the neck where we think a capo was stored, but overall this is a fine, all-original vintage instrument in very nice condition and ready to be played.
Scale length: 26 7/8" Nut width: 1 1/8"
