This is a lovely old instrument made by Stromberg Voisinet, probably around 1920. It features an integral metal resonator, real skin head, Ebony fretboard with dot inlay, three piece Mahogany neck and a very nice wood resonator (Maple or Mahogany?) with attractive marquetry ring. There Mahogany back to the resonator has matching marquetry for a very fine integrated vintage look. The instrument is in very good playable condition with low action and nice tone. There are some scratches and dings to the resonator back and neck, as would be expected of an instrument ion this age and pedigree, but the instrument remains physically sound and cosmetically attractive.
Comes with an older hard case in fair condition.
