Here for sale is a Silber Guitar company made Lamestiza Classical guitar. Marked number 30 we believe this guitar to have been built around 2014. Serial number 030-021. This guitar is a nice lovely guitar with a cool story of the maker below. But does have some short comings. Including a dark discoloration on the smaller treble bout. As well as remnants of some user installed dot markers. The action sits right at 4mm at the 12th fret which is standard for classical action. But does not live much room to lower so you'd have to be happy with the standard spec. Heres some about the maker. Comes with hard case.
Marc Silber has had a series of music stores during his long and colorful career including Fretted Instruments, located in Greenwich Village, New York and Marc Silber’s Music in Berkeley, California. While he owned Fretted Instruments in the early 1960s, Marc sold a guitar to Bob Dylan, who hung out at the store. While visiting the store, Dylan often shared songs he was writing and played with Marc and other customers. Marc later moved to Berkeley where he opened another store that once again became a hang out for the local musicians. Marc’s passion for playing continued all throughout this retail career. To date he has recorded 13 albums, mostly of the blues and folk music that he has written.
