We offer this truly amazing Ome Monarch model banjo made in the early 1990s. This is a period when they still made them with both flanges and shoes and when Ogsbury was doing some of his best work. This instrument features gloss stained Maple resonator, Ebony fingerboard with inlay, Rosewood peg head with decorative inlay and logo, Gotoh tuners, flamed Maple neck and aged white bindings throughout. This banjo is remarkably preserved both physically and cosmetically with very few marks or dings to show for it's 40 years and plenty of shine remaining on the armrest and flange. The banjo has also been professionally set up with low comfortable action and is stage-ready. Even better, the tone has that great volume, clarity and "crack" that bluegrass players are looking for. Comes with Black Hard case in good condition. If you are seeking a veritable resonator banjo, they really don't come much nicer than this!
