Made by violin maker Heinrich Haberline ( of the well-known Haberline family of violin makers of Marknuekirchen Germany) and in the famous "Amati" style, this 1923 instrument is a vintage beauty. The gently sloping top lines and gentle carving near the f-holes shows that Haberline paid meticulous attention when crafting this instrument. A tight-grained solid Spruce top, a nicely flamed one-piece solid Maple back and a gracefully carved scroll round out the look of this fine old violin.
This violin has been expertly restored and set up by renowned violin maker Raphael Storm who re-graduated the instrument, installed a modern strength bass bar, a new sound post (from century old Spruce), new tuners, bridge, fingerboard and varnishand expertly repaired a few minor cracks. The wood is old and sonorous but the instrument looks almost new!
This instrument will ship in a modern case for protection.
