Here for sale is a lovely old Gibson EM-150 Mandolin made in the days when they first started electrifying instruments. Though later models were fitted with a P-90 pickup this one features the rare and coveted three-pole Charlie Christian pickup. This mandolin is in very good playing shape with a straight neck and lovely action. As far as we can tell there are no cracks in the body of the instrument. There does appear to be a small two inch area where the back seam meets the heel that may have been re-glued at one time (see photos). Other than that, the instrument appears to be all original except that there Is a reproduction pickguard that has been meticulously made and installed to spec.

It comes with the highly sought after original stripe brown case (made possibly by the Geib case company).  The case is in good serviceable condition.
