Franz Seidel Violin, Klingenthal (1886)
This venerable violin from 1880s Germany has beautifully flamed Maple sides and back and a great vintage Spruce top. Made in the style of Jacobus Stainer, with graceful sides and high arch, this violin delivers clear and resonant tone that would please both classical and old-time players. The original short neck has been accurately replaced and re-set by renowned violin maker R.J. Storm who also did some minor crack repair and general restoration. This violin is healthy and ready for stage work.
