Famous in the Madrid school of guitar building, Felix Manzanero was an award winning innovator who apprenticed under Joze Ramirez II and went on to build top quality instruments for decades. After apprenticing for almost 15 years, this guitar is from the second or third year of his independent production at his own shop. It is made with a top quality Spruce top and we believe the sides and back to be of Cypress. It has a clear rich tone and plays very well with comfortable action. Features include a transparent tap plate, dark wood bindings and Ebony fingerboard. Past repairs have included professional set-up, repairs to a top crack behind the bridge and a back crack at upper bout and the frets have been leveled/crowned/polished. Comes with a hard shell case.
