This great old violin was made in 1913 at the Shop of E. Reinhold Schmidt in Markneukirchen, Germany. It has recently been through the shop of the renowned maker/restorer R.J. Storm and restored to concert readiness with a new dark ebony fingerboard and Helicore strings. This instrument is in very good playing condition, with the usual small marks from age and use and a few well-repaired top cracks and a rib repair that are all strong and structurally sound. The instrument has appropriate action and plays great and produces plenty of volume and pleasing carrying tones. Comes with modern transport case for protection.
