Deering "Intermediate" model 5-String Banjo (1986)
This vintage Deering plays and sounds very good. It features a slim comfortable Mahogany neck, Rosewood fingerboard with diamond shaped MOP inlay, Schaller-type peg-head tuners, geared 5th string tuner and a cast metal pot with 24 brackets.
It is in very good playable condition with low comfortable action and a straight neck. The frosted head has a few marks and smudges on it and there is some tarnish/rust on some of the metal parts from moisture over the years and there are the typical small marks and dings on the wooden parts as would be expected from use, but the instrument remains attractive and sound.
Comes in a black MBT Chipboard case in good condition.
