This is a really sweet slope-shouldered Collings dreadnought from 1998 made from premium materials including a genuine Adirondack top and AAA Mahogany back and sides. The 12 fret-to-the-body design gives this guitar a sweetness of tone that you don't always find in dreadnought instruments. The guitar is in very good playing condition with comfortable action and plenty of life left in the frets. There are a few small marks and dings from use as expected and one large scrape at the side of the lower bout (see pictures) but the guitar is in great structural condition and very physically attractive with an aged yellow finish. Tortoise pick guard and slotted headstock with open tuners round out the vintage feel and look. The guitar has a pickup output jack at the end pin and a 1/8" jack for a pickup inside should someone desire to put one in later. The scale length is approximately 25 and 1/2" and the nut width is a wide and respectable 1 and 13/16". Comes with hard shell case in good condition with all but one latch working.
