This now-vintage Bart Reiter Standard openback banjo No. 2527 was made by the renowned maker in the early-mid part of his career and is exquisitely crafted from Maple, Ebony and Rosewood. It is in top condition with only one or two small dings and plays great with appropriate action and clear tone, great for most styles and especially suited to claw-hammer. It currently has an "Elite" fyberskin style head. The instrument appears all-original except it has a replaced "T" style tailpiece to give extra angle at the bridge, but the original tailpiece is in the case for those who might want it.
Comes with a black hard case in very good condition.
