Here for sale we have a lovely crafted hand-built banjo from the well respected maker Bart Reiter. Bart Reiter has been building banjos in Lansing Michigan for the past 3 decades. We once spoke with Bart he said he would build a total of 5,000 banjos in his lifetime and then retire Bart just announced retirement because he's reached the 5,000 mark, so take home one of his lovely banjos while you still can. This one has the advantage of being vintage in that is was made in the early 90's making this a fairly early make. We have seen this model by two names one being the Regent and one being the Standard. We think this was a Regent when this was made. All we can tell you is the features are just lovely including a maple pot and rim with rosewood cap, wooden dowel stick tortoise inner pot binding near the tone ring. Ebony line down the neck and ebony heel plate. Also features a rolled brass tone ring. All and all this banjo is a top notch hand-crafted instrument with only the best workmanship and clarity of tone. Comes with Superior Hard shell case.
