Bacon Belmont Banjo c. 1955 (Gretsch)
Nice old Gretsch-made Bacon Belmont banjo from the 1950s. It has a nice decorative metal flange, stained Maple pot and resonator, multi color heel cap, and lovely white bakelite headstock with red Bacon and Belmont logos.
This banjo is in good playing condition. The neck has some bow from age and so the action is currently appropriate for claw-hammer playing but it could be taken down at the bridge for other styles if needed. There are numerous small marks and dings from age and use but no physical or structural problems.
It comes with a black hard case in good condition. There is some wiggle room in the case but it protects the instrument well and can be solved easily with a small amount of padding.
