We offer this really nice Ode Model 6505 banjo from the 1970s (Serial No. 10-78-C1). Not sure if it is made by Chuck Ogsbury or Baldwin who he sold to at some point. It's in really good playing shape and cosmetically well preserved with all of its bindings intact and only a few minor marks to the lovely Walnut resonator and the expected minor tarnish to metal parts that occurs naturally over time. The neck is straight and the action is low and comfortable and set for bluegrass. Most bluegrass banjos sport frosted heads but this one had a Fiberskyn head and we liked the sound so we left it. The head has one wear mark from picks but it is only cosmetic and remains sound and taught. The instrument appears to be all original and comes in a nice black hard case that may be its original. If you are ready for some great bluegrass tone and a really easy playing neck, you'll find that here.
