Great example of the high quality luthier work of maker Joe Veillette from Woodstock, NY. For over 20 years now, Veillette has been making great acoustic and electric guitars, 12-strings, and basses from his workshop in the famed musical town of Woodstock. This lovely bass dates from around 2005 and originally sold for over $4000 way back then. Since that time, other than a few extremely minor marks from use, this bass appears essentially untouched by time - the frets show no wear, the neck is straight, and the action comfortable with plenty of adjustment left needed, and the tone is full and resonant, even without plugging it in. Signed by Joe himself on the back of the headstock, this instrument is set up and ready for its next player. Comes with hard shell case also in very good condition.
