This top notch open-back banjo from Patrick Heavner of Pisgah Banjos of North Carolina is one of 6 prototypes that he made for his well-known "Woodchuck" model that remains in production. Some of the main differences between the prototype and production model is that it has an Oak neck, a slightly longer scale, and generally feels and sounds a little thicker.  This banjo is in great shape with a straight neck and appropriate action and almost no marks or dings.  The 12" Ash pot with rolled brass tone ring provides plenty of punchy low tones along with clarity up top.  This instrument will suit most any player and especially suited to clawhammer style.  It comes with a black "Pisgah" branded gig bag.
