We offer this high quality Muse long-neck banjo made by Ome of Boulder Colarado in the 1970s, designed and built by the famous Chuck Ogsbury. "Muse" was Ome's store brand at the time, and the well-known aluminum pot of this instrument bears the stamp "Ode Model 33". These aluminum cast models were considered some of Ode's best sounding long-neck banjos at the time, competing with Vega and other brands. This banjo is no exception and has amazing clarity, tone and volume. It is in very good playing condition and was recently set-up with a re-set neck using a metal "L" bracket to locate the angle of the dowel in the perfect spot for great action and playability, otherwise, it appears all-original right down to its vintage offset planetary tuners. Comes with a modern TLK hard case in very good condition as well.
