This venerable old instrument looks and sounds great. We are calling it a "no-name" because there are no markings, but the pot is a beautifully made metal-clad Boston style with 28 brackets much like an old Lyon & Healy or S.S. Stewart and the neck has a rounded heel with an opening where it meets the pot much like some very old Dobsons. Add original planetary friction tuners, lovely decorative neck inlay and nylon minstrel strings and you have the whole vintage package. Everything is in good condition with the usual minor tarnish and small marks. There is a fairly low wooden bridge set on a modern Fiberskyn head and it plays well with appropriate clawhammer style action. Comes with a modern Superior brand case in excellent condition.
