
Venerable old Luscomb banjo from the 1890s. features include genuine skin head, 28 bracket design, metal clad pot, Ebony fretboard, dark wood heel cap, decorative diamond shape abalone fingerboard inlay with star at 5th fret, original Ivory tailpiece and period plastic decorative friction tuning pegs. This banjo is in very good playing condition with appropriate claw-hammner action and is strung with nylon Minstrel strings which sound great. There is a small heel repair that is so well done that it is hard to see even if looking for it and totally sound structurally. Comes with a modern gig bag.
