Here for sale is an amazing Gibson LG-2. For a very short time after WWII Gibson still used its vintage style script logo at the headstock which dates this guitar to the 1946/47 era - different than the banner logo but more desirable than the later modern logo. This guitar sounds and plays very well. There are plenty of small marks, dings, finish crazing as would be aspected but these do not detract and even add a vintage patina. There is one very well repaired and cleated side crack but no other cracks, and an area of the upper right bout to the right of the sound-hole that has had some finish treatment which we suspect was done to hide play marks but otherwise the finish appears original throughout. We have had this guitar gone over and setup to the best of its ability. Current action sits at approx. 3mm at the 12th fret. It projects a great vintage tone with that classic Gibson woodiness but also the clear ring that the 40's era is known for. Comes with brand new high quality TKL Hard case
