Lovely old Yamaha from the 1970's with the tan oval Taiwan-era label. The "S" in the model designation usually means is has a solid Spruce top. It certainly has the rich and pleasing tone to prove it. Plenty of nice bling on this one including abalone around the top and rosette, aged white body bindings, decorative "bird" inlay on the fingerboard and headstock and a beautiful Rosewood back with marquetry divider. There are plenty of small dings, scratches and wear marks as would be expected but the instrument remains very attractive and in very good playing condition with a straight neck and low comfortable action.
