This is a very nice Washburn Archtop guitar that was made prior to WWII (Serial No. 4072 probably 1930s). It features a sunburst finish, white body bindings, dot neck inlay and a great Washburn logo headstock overlay. It appears all-original with the exception of the frets which have been replaced and recently dressed so that the instrument plays great with low comfortable action and without buzz all the way up the neck. The neck is straight and the action is further adjustable with the bridge wheels. It has a clear defined tone and good projection. The instrument is in very good vintage playing condition but does have many dings scratches, cosmetic blemishes and finish crazing from time and use, but that just adds up to a great vintage vibe. Comes with what might be its original brown chipboard case.
