This is a truly lovely playing and sounding banjo that combines a vintage Orpheum pot with the famous W.B. Farmer tone ring with a round metal ring sitting on brackets attached to the rim from the days when the company was Rettberg and Lange, married to a lovely modern Maple neck, perhaps the work of Bart Reiter.  Dot and star inlay, an Ebony heel cap and Schaller tuners and a genuine skin head round out the package.  The banjo is in good playing condition with just a few small marks from use and some tarnish to metal arts as to be expected.  It plays great with a straight neck and comfortable action.  Comes with a modern polyfoam hard case.
