Martin D-28 (1965) No. 200024
Here is a great example of the quality of Martin's work just recently set up to perfection including a neck reset. This Martin D-28 from 1965 is the type of guitar that would suit the rigorous playing musician. It has plenty of little dings and scratches and finish wear as would be expected of an instrument that has been loved and played, but this is all only minor cosmetics. It is structurally healthy with no cracks in the top or sides and only one small but repaired crack in the back. We believe this guitar to be all original with only a couple of minor exceptions: two bridge pins have been replaced on either side of the bridge with gold metal pins and the end pin of the guitar has been replaced. All and all this guitar is a great player and looker featuring the highly sought after brazilian Rosewood back and sides along with an Adirondack spruce top.
Comes with a Black Hard Shell Guild period case.
