Hohner (Steinberger) B-2 Bass - Used/Good (c. 2000)
The Hohner B2 bass is a design licensed from Ned Steinberger that revolutionized the world of smaller bass instruments starting in 1989.
This particular iteration which we believe to be made in Korea around the year 2000 is covered head to toe in gloss black lacquer over what we believe to be a Maple body. The neck has a nice slim profiled neck feature and has a truss adjustment at the top end. This is a full 34" scale instrument with 24 jumbo frets nicely nestled into a Rosewood fretboard. There are two "soapbox" hum-bucking pickups and four tuning wheels that easily and accurately tune the instrument from behind the bridge. This bass is in very good condition with good action and tone, almost not fret wear, and all electronics are original and working. There is the usual amount of minor scratches and marks expected of a used instrument which can be especially noticed when looking closely at the gloss black finish, but the instrument remains attractive
It comes with a high quality leather case., also in very good condition.
