Harmony Reso-Tone Banjo c. 1950s
This is a classic Harmony Reso-tone banjo which we believe dates from the 1950s due to it having what appears to be an original skin head. These old banjos are known for their "bacolite" pot and removable plastic resonator that allows the instrument to function as both a folk style open-back and a bluegrass resonator instrument. It is in very good condition with only a few insignificant scratches/marks from age and use and some honest play marks on the head. The head still holds good tension and produces nice tone. It has been professionally set up with new strings and comfortable action.
Comes with original hang tags (in fair condition)
