This beautiful '57 reissue Gold-Top Les Paul has the weight, feel and sustain that these high quality instruments became known for.  It is made with the same specs as the original '57 Les Paul Goldtop including original design "ButstBucker" hum-bucking pickups and the desirable slender ABR-1 bridge that attaches directly to the top without metal screw receptors being sunk into the top.  Gibson used this design for many years before they moved production to Nashville and it is said that this earlier design allows for more tone transmission and sustain.  This guitar appears all-original and is in excellent near-mint condition with very few wear marks and no finish crazing that we can detect.  The neck is straight and the action is comfortable and it is really smooth to play.  It comes with it's original Gibson moulded case also  in very good condition.  Basically, this is a top-quality guitar that  is stage-ready for its next player.
