Gibson ES-330T (1961) Cherry Red
When introduced in 1959, the ES-330T combined cutting-edge innovation with traditional design. The slim depth body is a delight for the player to hold and greatly reduced feedback while still retaining the graceful lines of the classic Gibson archtops. Best of all, the 330 has a fully hollow body, Ideal for jazz, blues and everything in between. The hollow tone chamber produces a fatter, warmer tone than semi-solid models, and is enjoyably lighter in weight. Made between 1959 and 1972, the ES-330T remains among the most comfortable and versatile electric guitars Gibson ever made.
This lovely 1961 Cherry finish ES-330T is in very good condition with comfortable action and great P-90 tone. It features a Mahogany neck with bound Rosewood fingerboard, MOP dot position markers, Maple top, back and sides and nickel-plated ABR Bridge with trapeze tailpiece. This instrument appears all-original with the the gloss nitro-cellulose lacquer finish showing only a few dings and wear marks. There is plenty of very small crazing which only adds to the great vintage vibe. The headstock likewise has a few bump marks at the edges, but all is intact and healthy. The frets still have plenty of playing left in them and the action remains adjustable in both directions. It comes with it's original brown faux-allegator chipboard case (The case is in avg/fair condition with a bit of loose trim).
