German "Conservatory" violin c. Stradiuarius Anno 1736 style 4/4 ( Stock #3510)
This German-made vintage 4/4 size violin is stamped "Conservatory" behind the scroll. It is made in the Stradiuarius Anno 1736 style with lovely spruce top and flamed Maple back and sides. It has been repaired/restored by Raphael ("R. J.") Storm who added a new Ebony fingerboard, Ebony pegs and bridge. It is currently strung with Helicore strings.
This instrument will be shipped a basic modern polyfoam transport case for protection. Other cases available upon request.
Raphael Storm apprenticed with renowned violin maker Carlos Arcieri. He has restored and repaired instruments of the highest quality including Italian Stradivari and Guarneri violins. Raphael also made one of Pete Seeger's touring banjos and a violin for Jason Carter of the Del McCoy band.
