Eastman WL-1 "Whyte Laydie" Banjo - near mint (2017)
Eastman's beautiful Whyte Laydie banjo is a faithful 1903 recreation made by master luthiers at Eastman strings who worked closely for three years with vintage instrument experts to produce the Eastman EBJ-WL1 open-back Banjo. All of the materials employed in the EBJ-WL1 are period correct from the Maple neck and rim to the black Ebony fingerboard, heel cap and headstock overlay. Add to this the beautiful decorative neck and headstock inlay and it makes for one amazing banjo! This particular instrument is in near mint condition and plays beautifully with the clarity and definition one would expect from a period banjo with the famous Whyte Laydie tone ring.
