We offer this very nice Collings SJ from 2001 (Serial No. 6353) made with solid Sitka Spruce top and solid Flamed Maple back and sides. The SJ imodel s known as a "small jumbo" but it is a full-sized instrument with a 16" lower bout. These SJ guitars are designed for a strong mid-range response and added clarity from the Maple sides and back and are meant for musicians who want something different than a standard dreadnought sound. This guitar is in excellent playing condition and set up nicely. There is one well-repaired top crack in the larger bout and a very small/insignificant binding separation on the back where the bouts meet, otherwise there are no other cracks and no significant scratches or marks. The neck is straight and the action is low and comfortable with room at the saddle for future adjustment if needed. The frets are also in good shape with only very minor play wear, so the instrument sits ready for years of service. Comes with its original Collings hard case.
