Bart Reiter Bacophone Plus Open-back Banjo (2011)
We offer this very nice Bart Reiter "Bacophone Plus" banjo circa 2011 in very good condition with straight neck and good action. When making the Bacophone Plus banjos, Bart Reiter adds a Whyte Laydie scalloped tone ring inside the standard Bacon tone ring to add some additional volume and dimension to the sound. The banjo is both sweet and clear. This instrument features a Mahogany neck with adjustable truss rod, 11" 3-ply bent Maple rim with Walnut rim cap, Amber "renaissance" style head, planetary tuning pegs, No-Knot tailpiece, Ebony fretboard with dot inlay and pearl star with a frailing scoop above the 17th fret and an Ebony peghead overlay with pearl star. Measurements include 1 1/4" nut width, 26 3/16" scale.
Comes with black hard "Superior" brand case in very good condition, but missing one latch.
