This top-quality Larrivee was made in Canada in 1996 before Larivee moved to California. It was collector-owned and is in top-notch near mint condition with no significant scratches or dings. This now-vintage instrument features a beautiful solid Spruce top with see-through pick guard, solid Koa back and sides with beautiful grain articulation, black/white purfling at the dark wood body bindings, white bound neck, pearl rosette, dark Ebony fingerboard with decorative pearl inlays and matching pearl decoration on the dark wood headstock overlay. But it's not just great looks here; this instrument has an equally lovely robust tone with both warmth and definition, and it's set up nicely with a straight neck and comfortable action of about 2.6 mm at the 12th fret (and some room for future lowering if desired). The only condition comment is an extremely minor hairline crack in the neck near the top nut which has been professionally glued/sealed and is almost impossible to see even when looking for it and which is not a structural issue whatsoever, otherwise, this instrument has little to no wear to show for it's over 20 years. They just don't come much nicer!
Comes with its original Larrivee branded hard case in very good condition.
