Great venerable bluegrass style resonator banjo from 1990s Deering production. The flamed Maple on the neck and resonator have particularly lovely figuring on this instrument (see pics). Other features include 24 bracket banded Maple pot, white-bound resonator with marquetry inlay, matching marquetry and binding on the neck, decorative M.O.P. inlay on the fingerboard and matching inlay at the headstock, thick one-piece flange and planetary tuners. This instrument has been set up and is ready for immediate service. It is in very good playing condition with a straight neck,, low comfortable action, and a vibrant tone. There are some wear marks on the frosted head as would be expected of a 24 year instrument, and tarnish to the metal parts, but otherwise, the banjo appears untouched by time with no significant dents, dings or scratches. It comes with its original brown hard case is good usable condition.
