All we know about this interesting banjo is that it was made by an Arizona maker who took up banjo making in retirement. It is a surprisingly well made instrument with a built-in flamed Maple resonator, carved with the pot from unified pieces of Maple and a solid Rosewood tone-ring beveling up to the head. It also features a Rosewood heel cap, minstrel style peg-head with planetary tuners and Rosewood overlay and a dark wood fingerboard that is perhaps of Ebony. This banjo is in very good playing condition with a straight neck and appropriate action. It does not have an original case but we'll will ship it in a modern Superior brand gig bag (or similar) for protection. This is a sweet hand-made instrument at a very reasonable price.
