The Model 174 Classical guitars were considered the top of the Harmony line at the time and some websites state they have solid Spruce tops.  The neck is surprisingly comfortable and the body shape is strangely similar to the sovereign model.  The tone is clear and warm.

These were produced between 1959 and 1967 so this one is near the end of the run.  It is in very good playing condition with comfortable action and a straight neck.  There is a fair amount of crazing (not easily seen in photos) and there is the expected amount of marks and dings and edge bumps as would be expected of a 50+ year instrument but it remains physically healthy and very attractive.  All in all, a great old instrument with a great vibe, and all original labels inside.

Comes with original chipboard case.
