Kenny Hill 3/4 "London" Classical Guitar
Here for sale we have a lovely hand-built Kenny Hill Classical guitar. For over 40 years Kenny Hill has been exploring the vast possibilities of classical guitar; as a guitar maker, as a player and even as a composer. He is best recognized for guitar making, first as an individual luthier, and over the past decades developing a larger team at Hill guitar Co. Mr Hill is still making guitars today. We spoke with him and he told us this a little bit about his work. He seems to build many levels of guitars at many different prices. He also told us that he no longer builds this model. He only Made a limited number of these he calls the "London" for a particular market. This guitar is modeled after a 1840's Louis Tanormo guitar and was originally intended for " ancient music" which refers to very old pieces that technically pre-date the classical period, although he stated that this guitar will please a classical player as well. This nylon stringed instrument was designed to get a big sound from a smaller body.
This instrument features Indian Rosewood back and sides, a fan-braced Engelmann Spruce, full Spanish heel, Ebony fretboard, Sloan Leaf tuners and a French polish finish customary to quality guitars such as this. It is in very good playing condition with a straight neck, comfortable action and no cracks.
It comes with quality hard case.
