Here for sale we have yet another nice example of Vega's tenor banjo work of the day. This style M features a Tubaphone tone ring 30 metal brackets and original Jos. B Rodgers skin head still holding taught. This banjo also features a 12' pot which is known for giving nice bottom end tone. Decorative M.O.P inlays on the fingerboard and headstock and original friction tuners round out this beautiful instrument. Condition notes include tarnish and discoloration of the metal parts and an expected amount of small marks and dings from age, But this Instrument remains solid and playable with minimal fret wear. The action currently sits at about 3mm but plenty of break angle at the bridge to lower if desired. No case is included but will carefully ship.
