This is an old Maple pot tenor banjo from the 1920's with plenty of wear marks etc., but in good playing condition and an old plunky tone - currently set up with heavier  Irish tuning strings (G, D, A, E). This venerable instrument features 20 brackets, burled Maple pot, Maple neck, Rosewood fretboard, heel cap and headstock overlay, friction tuners and what appear to be an original Waverly tailpiece and original skin head in good condition.  The neck is  straight and the action is comfortable with one small neck shim in place.

There is no case but for an additional fee we can ship it with a case or gig bag.
